Authentic Inc. is seeking an experienced Estimator / Cost Analyst to support high-end custom residential projects through detailed estimating, job-cost analysis, and construction cost reporting. This is a full-time, in-office role for someone who understands construction from both a field and financial perspective and can turn real project data into clear, informed decisions.

Work Location: In person. Remote and hybrid work are not available.

Position Overview
This role plays a critical part in understanding what each project should cost, what it is actually costing, and why. The Estimator / Cost Analyst will build accurate estimates, analyze real job costs, identify trends and variances, and help the company make informed decisions based on construction data.

This is not simply a takeoff-and-bid position. The right candidate should be able to dig into the details, ask the right questions, recognize discrepancies, and use practical construction knowledge to create meaningful, accurate estimates.

Responsibilities
Build detailed estimates for high-end residential construction projects and in-house construction divisions
Analyze historical job costs and use actual project performance to improve future estimates
Review labor, material, equipment, subcontractor, and production costs
Perform detailed job-cost analysis and identify cost variances
Compare estimated costs to actual costs and determine reasons for differences
Research and maintain current material, labor, subcontractor, and production costs
Review project budgets and monitor cost performance throughout the life of a project
Collaborate with in-house divisions to understand production methods, labor requirements, and actual costs
Evaluate change orders, scope changes, and design decisions for their financial impact
Assist with budgets and cost projections for upcoming projects
Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and other project documents
Perform quantity takeoffs and develop detailed pricing
Provide management with clear analysis and recommendations based on project data
Maintain organized and accurate estimating and cost documentation

Requirements
Extensive experience in construction estimating, job costing, and cost analysis
Strong knowledge of residential construction and the building process
Understanding of construction labor, materials, production methods, and subcontracted work
Ability to analyze actual job costs and understand the reasons behind cost variances
Experience developing and maintaining detailed construction estimates
Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and scopes of work
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Advanced Excel skills and strong computer proficiency
Sound judgment and the ability to connect numbers with real construction conditions
In-office availability Monday through Friday

This is a full-time, year-round role for someone with strong carpentry skills, attention to detail, and pride in doing the work the right way.

Pay: $30.00 to $45.00 per hour

Position Overview
This is a hands-on role involving both interior and exterior carpentry work. Candidates should be comfortable working with a variety of materials, following direction, solving problems on site, and contributing to a team built around craftsmanship, accountability, and quality.

Candidates with lead carpenter experience and the ability to train others may be eligible for a company truck.

Valid driver’s license
Reliable transportation to and from job sites, primarily in Big Sky, unless hired as a lead carpenter
Minimum 5 years of trim carpentry experience

Pay: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour

Work Location: In person, across construction sites in Big Sky, Gallatin Valley, and surrounding areas

Position Overview
This role includes operating end dump trucks, semi side dump trucks, and concrete delivery vehicles to transport materials safely and efficiently. The driver will help keep job sites moving by supporting aggregate, concrete, and bulk material deliveries across custom residential construction projects.

The right candidate should be confident operating heavy-duty trucks, communicating with site supervisors, performing inspections, and following safety standards in active construction zones.

Responsibilities
Operate end dump trucks, semi side dump trucks, and concrete delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
Load and unload materials including gravel, sand, concrete, and other bulk supplies
Conduct pre-trip inspections, including brakes, lights, tires, hydraulic systems, and equipment condition
Maintain accurate logs for deliveries, mileage, fuel, and maintenance needs
Coordinate with site supervisors and equipment operators to support jobsite schedules
Follow all safety protocols for trucking, material delivery, and construction site access
Assist with basic maintenance tasks as needed

Requirements
Valid CDL A license required
Minimum 1 year holding a CDL A
Minimum 1 year experience driving manual transmission
Manual endorsement required
Experience operating dump trucks, semi side dumps, concrete mixers, or similar heavy-duty trucks
Strong understanding of construction site safety procedures
Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
Mechanical knowledge of truck systems, hydraulics, and basic repairs preferred
Dependable, safety-minded, and able to work well with a team
