BUILDING WITH THE FULL PICTURE IN MIND.
Custom residential construction shaped by craft, coordination, and precision across Big Sky, Gallatin Valley, and beyond.
ABOUT
The roots of Authentic Inc. began with a lifelong respect for the craft of building.
Raised in New Hampshire as the son of a third-generation mason, Jeff St. Cyr learned early the value of precision, problem-solving, and pride in the details. Those lessons became the foundation for more than 40 years of industry experience and an approach built around craftsmanship, collaboration, and doing things the right way.
Today, Authentic Inc. is a vertically integrated Montana construction company specializing in custom residential work shaped by craft, coordination, and precision.
Across Big Sky, Gallatin Valley, and beyond, our company brings together the people, expertise, and experience required to execute highly considered homes from concept through completion.
Every project begins with understanding the land, the client, and the way the home is meant to live. From the first conversation, our team approaches each decision with the same commitment that has shaped Authentic Inc. from the beginning.
The result is a home shaped with intention from the ground up.
INTEGRITY & TRANSPARENCY
Authentic Inc. believes the build experience should be as considered as the home itself. Honest communication, clear expectations, and accountable decision-making guide each project from the first conversation through completion.
CRAFT & PRECISION
From the first decision to the final detail, Authentic Inc. brings discipline, pride, and technical precision to the work. Every member of the team plays a role in upholding a shared standard of excellence behind a custom home built to last.
INNOVATION & AUTHENTICITY
FEATURED IN
PHILOSOPHY
your home is only as exceptional as the work behind it.
A custom home asks for more than coordination. It asks for leadership.
Our clients work closely with a team that understands the full weight of the project: the land, the architecture, the investment, the schedule, and the personal vision behind it.
From the earliest conversations, Authentic Inc. brings structure to the process through a relationship built on trust, transparency, and collaboration. Every stage is guided with purpose, shaped by clear communication, thoughtful decisions, and a team that understands what the home represents.
The philosophy is simple: lead with clarity, build with accountability, and create an experience where the client feels as considered as the home itself.

JEFF ST CYR
Owner/President Excavation Manager
Strong spirit and relentless work ethic define the essence of the company – with Jeff St. Cyr as the owner and driving force behind it all. The environment and approach at Authentic is a direct reflection of Jeff’s values and experience – the construction industry has been in his blood for decades.
The son of a 3rd generation New Hampshire stone and brick mason, at the age of fifteen Jeff began an apprenticeship in the carpentry trade. By the time he was 18, Jeff was taking on general contracting roles on 18th century Colonial and Victorian renovations. Armed with a wealth of experience, Jeff then departed for Montana and began building with log and timber. And today, in this great state, he offers his extensive skills to clients who demand perfection.
JOE BEVIER
Project Manager
With over 30 years in building and managing homes, Joe’s passion for detail remains as strong as ever. Raised by a father who was a carpenter and owned a painting business, Joe learned the value of hard work early. After starting on a framing crew right out of high school, he moved to Bozeman in 1994 and began his career in finish carpentry. Shortly after, Joe met Jeff St. Cyr, and the two connected over a shared passion for craftsmanship. Nearly three decades later, they continue to pursue excellence together at Authentic Inc., where Joe has recently moved into project management, his favorite role so far.
Outside of work, family is Joe’s top priority. He and his wife have passed the value of hard work on to their two children, who have grown into successful careers. A lifelong musician and drummer, Joe finds constant inspiration through family, music, and building homes.
JOSH CARY
Concrete Division Manager
Josh is a third-generation Montanan, living in Belgrade with his wife Jenna and their two children, Dominic and Henry. With a diverse background that includes over 12 years in the fitness industry—ranging from personal trainer and gym owner to regional manager of a fitness chain—he has also gained valuable experience working in the medical field as an orthopedic trauma and total joint sales representative.
Now, he has found his passion in the construction industry at Authentic Inc. Leading the concrete division, Josh takes pride in working with a dedicated team that is prepared to tackle all challenges across Montana’s beautiful seasons. No matter the obstacles, he and his crew are committed to proving that it can be done.
ROB SAFRANEK
Project Manager
With 44 years of experience in the construction industry, including 26 years running his own residential construction business, Rob brings a wealth of expertise to the Authentic Inc. team. He has been a project manager with Authentic since 2016 (he might double-check that!) and enjoys working on the high-end projects that Authentic is known for. Rob also appreciates Jeff’s sense of humor, even during moments when he wants to strangle him!
When he’s not managing projects or remodeling his own home, Rob loves spending time outdoors and taking advantage of everything Montana has to offer.
DYLAN HANSER
Project Manager
Dylan is a proud fourth-generation Montanan, born and raised in Billings, Montana. From a young age, he worked alongside his grandfather at their family-run wrecker service, where he learned the importance of hard work and maintaining a standard of excellence. After playing college football at Washington State University, he earned a degree in business. Fueled by his passion for family and community, Dylan returned to Montana post-college, diving into excavation work before transitioning to carpentry. He now thrives at Authentic, a company that shares his commitment to excellence and craftsmanship.Â
In his spare time, Dylan enjoys spending time with family and friends, snowmobiling during the winter months, and relishing summers at Canyon Ferry Lake.
ADAM McNAUGHTON
Steel Division Manager
With over a decade of experience in the steel fabrication industry, Adam has refined his craft into a mastery of transforming raw steel into both functional and aesthetically striking structures. His journey began with a fascination for the way metal can be shaped, welded, and assembled to create intricate architectural details.
Over the years, Adam has contributed to countless projects, ranging from large-scale industrial installations to custom metalwork for residential properties. His expertise spans MIG, TIG, and stick welding, as well as advanced techniques in cutting, bending, and assembling steel. Adam’s dedication to precision and creativity ensures that every piece he works on stands out in both form and function.
SCOTT KOWAL
Estimator/Project Coordinator
With over 20 years of experience in the building industry, Scott brings a wealth of knowledge from the supply side to construction, with a focus on business, financial, and project management. His primary responsibilities include estimating, project coordination, and managing the business side of projects.
A few years ago, Scott and his family achieved their long-held goal of moving to Bozeman, joining friends and family already living in the area. After many years of “talking shop” with Jeff, this move opened the opportunity to become part of the Authentic Inc. team. The most important factor for Scott was partnering with someone who shares his vision of the home-building process and his commitment to quality, attention to detail, and building strong relationships with all stakeholders. Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and exploring the beautiful landscapes Montana has to offer.
